AS1C: details and engine

As promised when we added the AS1C start and test drive video, we’ve uploaded another video of the AS1C where we show the details and have it idle. The goal has been to make the video extra crisp, hope you like it!

AS1C: first start and test drive

We’ve had the chance to take the AS1C out for a drive. This was the very first time we’ve started it up so it took a couple of kicks to get it started. Once it was running, it ran well. We’ll be adding another video of this bike as well where we show some close ups of it running.

All in one

We have quite a big update today. A while back we got our hands on the engine and frame (along with registration papers) for a 1968 blue AS1C. The engine was basically unused and the frame was in good condition as well. We figured that we had better finish the job and rebuild it.

This is the entire project from start to finish. Most steps, except for the very first ones, are documented.

An entire bike in one update

This is the entire project from start to finish. Most steps, except for the very first ones, are documented. We’ve started the bike as well and it runs perfectly. We should have a video and image gallery up soon.

A Special AS1C

We have managed to get a very special motorcycle: a special limited edition Pearl White and Black AS1C from 1968. Not only was very few made, this is an original condition, unrestored one. It has been driven around 4000km but it looks pretty much new. Click here to go to the gallery and take a look

Just like the original condition AS2C we got a while ago, this one has been kept in a temperature controlled environment for most of the time since it was new.
