As always when there’s a lot of things to do, time just never seems to be enough. However there is always a point when things start to ease up and you find yourself with more time on your hands than you expect, now if that”s because you have less to do or if you’re just better at getting things done compared to before varies.
The point is that after two weeks of little activity it’s time to get moving once more! Ironically we hit a new weekly record in the number of visitors to the site week 42. On average we have more than 150 unique visitors each day with a lot of you visiting more than just once, a number that seemed like a distant dream not long ago.
Now on to the real news! We’ve put the AS2J ‘Drive’ back together again and taken it out for a test drive, it runs like a dream. You can see the finished result on the project page along with the same video of the test drive as below. Annoyingly the battery in the camera died about the same time as it started raining so the video ends a bit abruptly.
One of the first people we got in contact with when we started restoring the 125s a few years back was a man named Jan from Norway, he was a big help for us. He’s recently uploaded a couple of videos of his AS3 up and running on Youtube, you should check them out too!
