A lot

We’ve got a lot of different news today, first there’s a new build update for the red AS2C. Because all the parts are ready and waiting progress is quick. On top of that all parts for the next two projects are done too! Bassel has truly made an excellent job with the paint on these coming bikes. Next up for the bench is the blue AS3. You can see the engine blocks for the AS2C and AS3 in the pictures.

We got another letter from Mikael filled with pictures of him and his friends with their AS2Js. As some of you who’ve read the guestbook may already have figured out, we’ve got a new bike coming to the collection, a Honda CB750. It’s currently at Beezeees getting restored and they’ve sent some pictures of the progress.

We hope you’ve enjoyed the year with Yamaparts, the site has grown considerably since we launched it in march and the response has been great.

Happy New Year to all of you!

We began to assemble the AS2C right after christmas and it’s coming along nicely, since all the parts are ready it’s quick work. Since this is a scrambler there are a few differences from the regular AS2J, for example: the turn signals are brushed aluminium, not chrome and the rear fender got the reinforcements and cables on the outside to stop them from being damaged when the rear wheel slams against it.

Busy christmas

The update tonight is mostly a quick recap of what’s about to happen, at the moment three bikes are ready to be assembled! Two AS2Cs and one AS3, During christmas there”ll be a lot of activity on them, hopefully they’ll all be done within a month.

For now enjoy the parts for the bikes, just waiting for work to start and some gratuitous fuel tank shots.

Tonight we’ve got a new update for the blue AS3 project, we’ve also recieved an email from our friend Ross.

He’s working on a Yamaha YL1 restoration that’s looking great but he’s having trouble finding YL1 mufflers. So if you got some, don’t hesitate to throw him an email.
